Thabiso Mosia is an award winning journalist with 10 years’ experience in the sports broadcasting industry. Mosia previously worked as a betting analyst before venturing into sports broadcasting under the guidance of the renowned Jeff Moloi on KayaFM where he worked as a reporter, producer and sports writer.
He then joined ENCA in 2008 and became part of the channels first ever sports desk team where held the position of sports writer/producer. In 2009 Mosia was named as the Best Newcomer at the prestigious SAB Sports Awards and later on his career came full circle as he won SAB Sports Radio Journalist of the Year in 2015 as well as the Overall Best Journalist in the Audio Media category.
In 2013 Mosia left ENCA to take up a new challenge as Sports Anchor on then newly-formed radio station Power FM where he cemented his standing as one of the country leading sports caters.
He was recognized by the Liberty Radio Awards for his sterling work as he won the 2017 Sports Show of the Year Award and in 2018 he was crowned the Liberty radio Awards Sports Presenter of the Year.
Mosia rates covering the 2010 FIFA World Cup as well as the 2016 Rio Olympics as some of his career highlights and he was also appointed to be on the judging panel for the 2017 SA Sports Awards, a recognition he holds dearly….
