As part of celebrating it’s 87th year of excellence in talk broadcasting, SAfm, the country’s oldest and leading national talk radio station as well as current PBS radio station of the year is proud to announce that it will be hosting former Chief Justice Mogoeng Mogoeng, a distinguished legal luminary to deliver a public lecture that promises to be a significant vent on the station’s calendar, marking its inaugural annual public lecture.
The lecture, titled ‘Constitutionalism and upholding the rule of law in South Africa’, will take place on the 29th of November 2023. It will offer a unique opportunity for the public to engage with one of the country's foremost legal minds. Former Chief Justice Mogoeng Mogoeng, known for his unwavering commitment to justice and the rule of law has accepted the invitation to share his insights and expertise on this vital issue that is at the heart of South Africa’s democracy. With his vast experience in the legal field and pivotal role played in shaping the nations jurisprudence, Chief Justice Mogoeng Mogoeng’s lecture promises to be enlightening and thought-provoking.
The public lecture will serve as an opportunity for all to gain a deeper understanding of the principles of constitutionalism and the critical role it plays in upholding the rule of law in South Africa.
