Sihle Zikalala and Oscar Mabuyane were sworn in as new Premiers yesterday. Sihle Zikalala officially took over as the Premier of KwaZulu-Natal yesterday. Zikalala was declared the new leader of the government in the province during the first sitting of the 6th provincial legislature in Pietermaritzburg on Wednesday morning. Also saw Oscar Lubabalo Mabuyane being sworn in as the new Premier of the Eastern Cape. In his acceptance speech, Mabuyane said that the African National Congress (ANC) owed people a great deal of service for their continued loyalty.
