The MEC for Health in Gauteng Dr. Bandile Masuku says overcrowding is one of the reasons for the outbreak of the Klebsiella virus which has claimed the lives of 10 babies at Tembisa Hospital. 7 others are still being treated and one has been discharged. Masuku says an investigation is underway to determine if hygienic conditions were also a contributing factor.
