Patients are being turned away at most clinics in Limpopo due to a shortage of medicines

Patients are being turned away at most clinics in Limpopo due to a shortage of medicines. Health MEC Phophi Ramathuba says the problem has been caused by a new system at the provincial pharmaceutical depot. She visited the depot at Seshego outside Polokwane on Monday and discovered boxes of medicines, which could not be distributed. This has affected 478 clinics and 40 hospitals across the province. #SAfmSunrise with Stephen Grootes talking to Phophi Ramathuba – MEC for Health in Limpopo.
