Santaco orders drivers to stop protests
SANTACO calls on taxi drivers to stop violence in Tshwane
Taxi association SANTACO in Gauteng has called on all taxi drivers and operators to desist from engaging in violence and confronting alleged drug dealers at Bloed street and the nearby Marabastad. Chaos broke out last week after a man alleged to be a drug dealer shot and killed a taxi driver who was trying to stop him from selling. SANTACO says a meeting has been held with all relevant stakeholders. On #SAfmSunrise with Stephen Grootes spoke to Abner Tsebe from the South African National Taxi Council (SANTACO).
