Senior lecturer at the Wits University's School of Economics and Business Science, Lumkile Mondi says ratings agency Moody’s decision to change South Africa’s investment outlook from stable to negative was expected. Moody’s made the announcement on Friday night. This means SA is one step away from junk status if it does not improve its economic plan in three months’ time.
