Suspended Gauteng Mental Health Director, Dr Makgabo Manamela could face arrest if she again fails to appear at the Life Esidimeni hearings on Thursday. Arbitrator Justice Moseneke ordered that a warrant for her arrest be issued after she failed to arrive for her second day of testimony in Parktown, Johannesburg, following a grilling on Monday. 

The warrant will however remain suspended pending her appearance on Thursday. Manamela's lawyer Lerato Mashilane said her client was not well and had gone to see a doctor. Wisani Makhubele reports..
