Turkey’s Karpowership in Richards Bay has finally received its environmental impact assessment application, this  comes after much push and contestation from different environment lobby groups. This approval comes after many groups complained about the impact the ship will have on the environment, including effects on small scale fishing and marine life in general. Karpowership has had its different environmental impact assessments applications failing, the company is looking to implement three ship floating gas to supply power to South African projects in the coast.
