COSATU raises concern about occupational health after parliament fire

COSATU is concerned about occupational health for workers in parliament. The labour Union says they are grateful no one was hurt or died, but says there are serious failures pointed to. They say parliamentary protection services that are inside the different buildings within parliament were told not to report during the holidays as there is no overtime available to them. Union Nehawu earlier said Parliament's decision to scale down shifts for protection services personnel, has compromised the safety of the National Assembly.
