Boris Johnson resigns as UK Prime minister

Boris Johnson has resigned as Conservative Party leader after facing mass resignations from the ministerial ranks and a cabinet revolt. His resignation means that an internal election to pick a new leader of the Conservative Party who will also be the next prime minister will commence soon. Johnson's almost 3-year-long tenure as prime minister will likely be remembered most for his ushering of Britain's contentious Brexit from the European Union. But will the rest of the world and Africa in particular miss him? On #SAfmBTH with Aldrin Sampear spoke to Jeremy Corbyn, British politician who served as Leader of the Labour Party and Leader of the Opposition from 2015 to 2020.
