Mdumiseni Zuma sentenced to 12 years for July unrests

Mdumiseni Zuma was sentenced to 12 years in prison for his role in the 2021 July Riots after the arrest of former President Jacob Zuma. The civil unrest led to over R50 billion in infrastructure damage due to the looting of shops. Mdumiseni Zuma is part of a group of 60 alleged instigators who have been convicted for the violence in Kwa-Zulu Natal and Gauteng.
