Gauteng police are monitoring the situation in Diepkloof of Soweto Township in the southwest of Johannesburg.
This as residents in the area have embarked on a service delivery protest this morning, blockading Chris Hani road with various objects.
The police's Kay Makhubela says the situation is calm at the moment
