Will the ad hoc committee save the SABC?

On the Forum@8 Sakina Kamwendo discusses whether parliament's ad hoc committee will save the public broadcaster

Parliament's Ad Hoc Committee probing the SABC affairs and the board's fitness to hold office says former Board Chairpersons Ben Ngubane and Ellen Tshabalala will be the last witnesses to testify in the inquiry. 

The Ad Hoc Committee was expected to resume today. However, it will only resume on Friday when the two former board chairpersons will take the stand.  

Speaking to Sakina Kamendo, Professor Franz Kruger who was National Editor of Radio News at the SABC from 1994 until 1999 says the public broadcaster has to claim its position.
