Anti-apartheid activist and scholar, Professor Raymond Suttner was actively involved in the liberation struggle and served two terms of imprisonment totalling 11 years in the 70s and 80s and was also under house arrest.
His prison memoir "Inside Apartheid's Prison", which was first published in 2001, has just been republished with a completely new introduction reflecting on the political choices that lead him to pursue his political convictions outside the ANC and SACP. He spoke to Sakina Kamwendo about on journey through the years.
