The office of the Auditor General has released its 2014/2015 municipalities audit report. The report shows an increase in clean audits for municipalities.
 

The Auditor-General Kimi Makwetu says that while there's been a marginal improvement in audit outcomes, government could have recorded a higher margin of improved results. Makwetu has commended the contribution of mayors and other municipal structures for the great improvement in the audit outcomes of councils across the country.
