Kenyan police fire tear-gas at protesting Odinga supporters
Government says police will remain on high alert as the elections results are being tallied
Police in Kenya fired tear-gas on Wednesday at a group of 100 chanting supporters of Opposition leader Raila Odinga in Kisumu one of Odinga's strongholds. The protests took place shortly after the NASA presidential candidate claimed the polls were rigged. This comes after the government said police would remain on high alert as the elections results are being tallied. The East African country went to the polls on Tuesday to elect a president.
